Nataly's Baked Cheese Cake

One of my favorite family recipes is baked cheese cake. This is one of the first dishes I remember preparing with my mami, as far back as to when I was 4 years old. I used to prepare the crust, crushing the cookies, and spreading it onto the baking dish while my mom got the mixture ready.

Ingredients:

crust

1 pack of cookies (Maria brand, orange wrapper)

1 bar of butter

Mix

1 can of condensed milk

1 can of “lechera”

3 eggs

1 bar of cream cheese

Dash of vanilla extract

Instructions:

for the crust, crush the cookies into powder, mix with the bar of butter and spread onto baking pan

1. Whisk all other ingredients together and poor onto crust

2. bake at 350 degrees for an hour

(my mom and I used to make sure it was done by sticking a wooden stick in the middle of the pie, if it came it’s clean it was done )
