In the Name of Colonized Jesus

Too many people too desensitized to the struggles of

brown skinned, black skinned, yellow skinned, red skinned brothers and sisters.

Faces plastered on the news but not too many people taking a second to empathize.

Instead they dehumanize innocent children of God.

People come poor and broken but not too many have spoken

the horrors immigrants face within the “God Blessed” United States.

Even Moses, freer of God’s chosen people, understood none shall have idols.

But the morals of a colonized Christianity faith have allowed for money to be the

all mighty, all powerful.

Refugees seek safety and continue to be criminalized

like hard core gang members, when all they seek is security yet still feel like inferiority.

The time is ticking, and the Earth is not looking any better.

Children are dying and not one man is caring.

The country is built upon the rape of women, children, hopes and dreams.

While education is pushed, children in this country

spirits crushed as their history continues to be taken.

“Keep em’ dumb” the white man says,

but what they don’t see is that our people rise like Montezuma,

confront and defend,

honorable and wise

God sees all.

As the world turns their face,

It is clear the colonizers have lost track of true faith.

We will never forget,

those who denied God’s children

not once, not twice, not even three times, but innumerable times.

People of a colonized Jesus preach the gospel as it feels suitable to cover up their crimes.

Practices are fake, words spew hate,

they couldn’t care less.

Their all mighty, all powerful controls and manipulates society

While millions of immigrants die and struggle their whole lives to reach their vision of heaven,

the white man is praising the colonized Jesus.
